Your data rights
What the Digital Personal Data Protection Act gives you, and exactly where to use each right on Padhaai.
See what you have agreed to
Settings, then Privacy, lists every consent, its version, and whether it is currently given. Nothing there is written in a way that needs a lawyer to read.
Withdraw consent
Any optional consent can be withdrawn from the same screen, and it takes effect immediately. Two consents cannot be withdrawn while the account exists — the terms and the privacy notice — because they are what the account runs on. Closing the account withdraws them.
Get a copy of your data
Request an export from Settings, then Privacy. We prepare a file of everything we hold about you and respond within 30 days.
Correct or delete
Correct your details directly in Settings. Deletion is requested from the Privacy screen, takes effect within 30 days, and removes your account and learning history. It cannot be undone.
For guardians
A verified guardian can exercise these rights for a child on their account. A child can always see what has been agreed on their behalf.
Adaptive pacing, and what we never use for it
If you turn on lesson pacing in Settings, then Privacy, we look at how you answer — how long you take, what you get right, when you ask for a hint, and whether you tell us you are lost — so a lesson can slow down, offer a break, or change the order. No camera and no microphone is ever used to judge attention, engagement or how a student is feeling: not on this site, not in the app, not for any age. What we work out stays between you and your lessons. No parent, mentor, teacher or sponsor is shown it, and it is never used to rank anyone or to target advertising. The session records behind it are deleted after one year, and the patterns we learn from them carry no name attached. Turn it off whenever you like and lessons carry on exactly as before — nothing is withheld and nothing nags.
